The shorter the domain name the easier it is to remember, and the less chance of users noting and remembering it incorrectly. Short is good, but don't use difficult to remember acronyms, such as wqdx. Use words whose spelling and punctuation is easy to remember, it is better if someone can immediatly type in your address after hearing it spoken.

After registering, your domain name is default forwarded to a Parked Page. Of course you can leave it like this, but it is more wise to forward your domain to an existing web site, or to any favorite page within a web site. Please login, click on the domain name and enter your favorite URL, using URL forwarding.

If you registered your domain for future use, or as a investment, it is always wise to forward your domain name to the For Sale page. Then you are able to sell your domain for the price you always wanted. You never know what your domain is worth to somebody else.

If you are using an Internet provider who does not support Internet2 TLDs yet, please call them and ask them to upgrade their DNS servers to resolve Internet2 domains. This linkwill explain how providers are able to upgrade and it will cost them nothing. When your provider supports Internet2 TLDs, it means that not only you can standard resolve Internet2 TLDs, but all users of the same provider also. This will make you domain more popular to your relations and friends.
